Generally speaking, the emergency treatment methods for oil-immersed transformers are as follows:
1. Disconnect the circuit breakers on each side of the transformer, cut off the power supply on each side, and quickly turn on the backup transformer to restore the power supply;
2, stop the operation of the cooling device;
3. When the main transformer and high-tech transformer are on fire, the generator must be disconnected first;
4. When burning on the top cover of the transformer, open the lower part of the accident transformer to drain the oil, and put it in a proper place. If the interior of the transformer is on fire, the oil should not be drained to prevent the transformer from exploding.
5. At the same time, it is necessary to use a fire extinguishing device to extinguish the fire in time. In order not to expand the impact, it is necessary to notify the fire brigade in time.
Of course, once an oil-immersed transformer catches fire, don’t panic. As long as you can reasonably follow the above-mentioned methods to calmly deal with it, I believe you can reduce the loss very well.
