What Is an Oil-Immersed Transformer?

The oil-immersed distribution transformer is like a "voltage-reducing courier" for the power system. It is specifically responsible for safely "reducing" the electricity (such as 10,000 volts) sent from distant high-voltage lines to electricity that can be directly used in people's homes and factories (such as 380/220 volts).
